The purpose of the Policy is to reduce the administrative burden and costs associated with the assessment and determination of minor development and specific rural development, that presently requires development approval under the Shire of Bruce Rock Local Planning Scheme No.3 (the Scheme). Apart from the development types that already do not require development approval under the Scheme, the Policy details additional exempted developments, and the requirements to authorise temporary development, as provided for under Schedule 2 clause 61 of the Regulations.
