Have you marked your calendar?  Booked your holidays? We hope so, for you are invited to Bruce Rock for a great week of relaxation and comraderie.  Camping on the oval will be available from Tuesday 3rd November 2009.
The Activities will be the same as previous years with Golf, Bowls, Bingo, Rifle Shoot, A Garden Party, Town Tours and Card making for the Ladies. The usual informative evening will on a health subject, conducted by a Medical Professional in the field. There will be concerts at the Federation Amphitheatre, both Thursday and Friday night and much more.
Saturday the 7th of November is the special day, with Street markets, a town hall full of info booths covering a wide range of health issues, Flag Association, PVA, TPI etc. 10th Light Horse museum, Historical military vehicles,  Brass Bands and much more.
At 2:45pm all veterans and interested persons are asked to form up outside the town hall for a march through the town to St Peter’s Church for a relighting of the memorial candle at the Vietnam Veterans PEACE Window. Followed by a free bbq, drinks and entertainment at the Recreation Centre.
A free Sunday morning breakfast will follow for those having to leave us, but we hope you will stay and enjoy the Brass Band entertainment at the Shire Hall. Take a leisurely drive to the Ardath Pub for lunch, then rest a while for an evening around the Bards Pit, where you entertain us!
So come prepared to enjoy great Country hospitality, have a good time, catching up with old mates and making new ones!!
